im trying to change a double socketc?

the socket i have just removed has three lots of wires how do i replace the new socket cover?

right explanation from adam just make sure you dont crimp insulation on the inner cores and give each cable a small pull to check they have all been gripped by screw.

Put each lot of wires in the correct hole (brown or red in L, black or blue in N, green and yellow in E or with an 'earth' symbol) then tighten the terminal screw to hold the wires securely in place.

Screw the socket back to the backbox on the wall using the machine screws supplied, or the ones off the old socket.
