,as the computer is shutting down the electric trips ,it doesnt seem to trip during the day but it does on a night ,but theres hardly any plugs in at night as i alway unplug everything .would it be the computer at fault or the electric ?

Could be a faulty power supply in it. but i have neaver heard of one doing this in all my years of doing it support, doubt its the electric thats the problem as it would probably affect other devices try the computer on a different circuit and something else in that socket.
