when I turn my heating on the morning the boiler does not fire up. I sometimes have to reset the system 3 times and the display shows F 9. As I have no manual I cannot find out what this means.

Don't know, but had an F9 fault on a 30CX boiler last year, when the boiler was just over a year old, and had to have the entire boiler replaced! The new boiler has just developed an F9 fault that does not go away no matter how many resets I do, so I've got Glow Worm coming out again this week. So, two failures in two years on two separate boilers. A quality product? I don't think so!
