Ceiling fan, that was stopped by my painter. He took hiswooden handle to stop the fan from running. On the third speed, now, the fan acelates so bad, that it vibrates and swings every which way, and it's remote control, but my question is, can it be fixed, and howor by whom?

Can it be fixed ? by the sound of it NO!
Can it be replaced ? Yes
By Whom? an electrician
Paid for by? The painter
Now the tricky bit.
Do you owe him money? if yes hold back the estimated cost of replacing the fan or if less hold on to all and ask him for the rest.
If cost of his work exceeds the cost of replacing the fan give hime the fan replacement receipt followed by the extra money tell him the receipt is the first part the cash is the remainder.
