lcd screens are assembled from the bottom up,ie bottom metal casing with the ccfc tube/tubes,depending on size of screen,more for bigger screens,then the clear block,with the flourescent coating,then the silver layer,then the opaque sheet,then the clear sheet,then the screen usually this has the protective dark lamanite covering bonded over the pixelated chemical screen,probably for protection of the screen,due to being so fragile,it,s probably microns thin.i have worked on 15,17 inch screens maybe the same for all other sizes not sure,health and saftey should determine all sizes hazardess to health if no protection ie,protectivecoating is not on the screen,due to the poisioness liquids inside,the screen.
