Very High Pressure (on a Saunier Duval SD 620)?

I am getting very high pressure readings on the above combi boiler. the pressure or water when cold is 1bar and usually sits around 2 when fully hot. Recently its jumping up to 4 bar !! and can only be reduced by lowering the temp...
Any Ideas. Thanks

Hi Ian - thanks a million, I'll pump that up when it's cold.I take it I can do that without having to drain down the system? Once I have it up to 1 bar with air, do I bleed the air from the expansion vessel or leave it ?

your expansion vessel needs to be re-pressurised.
