Glow-worm micron 60ff flashing lights?

Fitted this micron 60ff myself 7 years ago . 2 months ago I change pcb and heat sensor on boiler because the fan was running but boiler did not fire.It now fires but always the second time, But randomly it does not fire for what ever reason,When I check the boiler the reset and burner lights are flashing, one fast and one slower. I have asked Glow-worm tech dept they had no idea. The boiler may run for days with no problem and then cut again any new ideas? Bernie.

If reset is flashing quickly and burner flashing slowly, that's a fail to start the fan. Take off bottom front piece then top front piece, look at fan sat on very top of boiler, you can see the fins of the fan and it should spin as soon as boiler calls for heat. If it's stopped, give it a little help turning clockwise. You might see it tries to spin, but gets stuck and there's a low hum. Squirt a tiny bit of WD-40 on the visible parts of spindle, a few turns by hand to work it in, leave a minute then try again. Hopefully the fan will start by itself (rotates very fast)
