Fault finding on a gas fire?

My fire takes a while to light.you have to try and light it over and over again.Could my injectors be blocked

My gas fire works briefly then cuts out and then have to relight it. Do i need a new safety valve?

is gas coming out? does the pilot light stay on? could be a thermo couple problem if its the later.
