I have a ferroli DOMIcompact24 b boiler.

When the boiler is not on, the pressure dial is about 1 bar. But when the CH is on the dial creeps up to 2 bar and the boiler starts banging. I have to turn it off. The dial goes to 4 bar so it cant be too much pressure!

Does anyone know why and what I can do about it?

I have bled the radiators, the water is nice and hot from the taps, so no problems there.

The electrical connector on the pump always slips off, was a problem on the ferroli modenas and still is on these models

it can be pump jammed or not working. check it out or call gas safe engineer
