How do I remove the mesh grill under my Moffat Module 60 cooker hood in order to clean it?

It's a bit like an overhead cabin on an plane - but facing the wrong way. Hold the handle at the other end and pull it back (not down) towards yourself. When it can't go any further, push it back out but make sure it does not go back into the recess at the other end. Now the grill comes out completely and you can clean it. Good luck.
