Check the lid is operating the lid switch by opening & closing the lid slowly. You should here a click before the lid is right down. If not then adjust the switch. Put your hand through the gap between the top deck & the top of the bowl on the rear right corner. Feel around for the adjustment screw. Turn it a couple of turns then try the lid again.
