Kenmore washing machine won't fill with water at all?

kenmore washing machine begins agitating as soon as you pull out the knob, but no water comes into the machine at all.

Hello,

A bad water level switch could do this. The switch is supposed to switch over to agitate once the washer is done filling. You will have to check with an ohm meter to confirm. You can also check the tube that runs off the switch for cracks.
