How do I fix my Vivitar 3315 Digital Camera?

My camera is about 2 years old . The other day I took the card out to have pictures developed and now I can't even take pictures or delete.. "Write Protect" are the words that flash across the screen. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Sounds like your memory card is locked. Take it out and look for a little switch on the edge of it, slide it the way that it isnt already (is that good grammar?) to unlock the write protection.

Your camera takes an SD memory card. Look on the side of the card itsself, and you'll probably see a little "switch" that you can move up and down. Most SD cards have it. Put the "switch" so that is's not in the "locked" position.
