Pull cord light in my bathroom?

Hello, my 3 year old daughter was yanking the bathroom light pull and the string came away in her hand. I have fixed that but am unsure how to wire it back up. There are 2 wires - 1 black and 1 red and 3 places to wire them into marked L1, L2 and com. Can anyone please advise? Many thanks!

put red or black in l2 and com as the switch only touches them together switching the light on !!! switch the power off first . if in any doubt contact an electrican . hope this helps

Normally Red but it really doesn't matter - all the switch does is joing the two wires together and separate them for on and off.
