Hello Andrew,
This is Alan of Bangor seeking a solution to a different problem with the DTI6300.
I can't remember what I did to rectify matters in May but I did not get to try-out your proposition via 1379.
Curiously though, I have at other times used a similar approach to remove a disruptive rogue recording by going to 1397, then to 'disable video window' which then enables pick off and standard proceedure for the removal of the rogue recording.
My latest problem is that one of my DTI6300 units has gone dead as if a fuse has blown. The plug top fuse is intact although at the time of the fault it could well have been that the fault could have been the cause of an incidental circuit-breaker trip in the ring main.
Would you Andrew, or any one else know if there is a fuse inside the unit or maybe have knowledge of any other possible component or rationale that may have caused this total isolation.
Alan, Bangor
