is the fan kicking in??? favourites on these are the fan and the pcb, if you take cover you will be able to see fan kick in when a hot tap opens or heating called for, see top of boiler, if that is working probably dry joint on pcb, give casing a swift whack on the side near pcb area, maybe you will be lucky!
