Everything was good with the tv until a few sporadic times the pic would vanish but we had full audio, we would turn off tv for few minutes then on and all would be good. Now it happens after a few minutes on and goes off but full sound? Thinking of bad PR to Samsung as a few of your members have had success this way, or is there a cheaper repair??

try taking the back off your tv.On the pcb board there are 4 capacitors,if any one of these are bulging,this is more than likely the cause of your problems.once replaced,you may have to reset your eprom card.I took my samsung tv into work and the electrician soldered 4 new capacitors of a higher rating.These cost me with delivery around 8 POUNDS FROM CPC PRESTON.Another guy reset my eprom for a princely sum of 8 cans of olde english cider.Well worth it.Tv now up and running again.
