The yellow light below the reset button comes on when the central heating or hot tap is required. The boiler does not light or even try to but I can hear the pump working. In the manual it says its a flue problem but checked that and no probs. Emailed Ariston tech and they said it could be an air pressure switch problem. Has anyone had this problem.

it'll be a faulty air pressure switch or maybe the pcb, it's quite common on these boilers. may also be a problem with the fan or venturi but it's not as common. get a qualified engineer out to diagnose and repair it properly, it'll be cheaper in the long run.
