I have a lovely lamp that won't come on. It is a dimmer light so when the base is pressed it comes on... yet nothing. I have opened the bottom and there is a black box.... does anyone know if this needs changing. Have put in two bulbs yet neither seem to work errrr!!! Also checked the fuse.

or you can get a spark to fit an inline dimmer to on the cable

the unit is blown,you need to replace the module,its the black box inside.
