kitchen trip switch goes at night?

For the last week my kitchen switch goes in the middle of the night when no one is up. I have less plugged into the sockets than I ever have done in 20 years so cannot believe it is an overload. What would cause such a thing at night when everyone is in bed? Even replaced the fuse board yesterday but it is still happening. Any ideas?

It could be a faulty appliance, fridge or freezers start and stop 24 hrs a day so plug them in somewhere else and see what happens, turn off outside lighting etc then see what happens,
If you need to call a sparks this will helpmhim as you have done some problem solving already which in turn could make it cheaper for you ;-)

what do you mean you replaced the fuse board??

is there any chance it could be mice as they like the taste of cable plastic or is there an outside PIR which could be triggered by wildlife.Only an electrician has any chance of narrowing it down
