My Panasonic DMR-ES30V dvd/video recorder has stopped working due to 'no electric power'. I have checked the mains lead with a tester, ok. This lead works ok on another unit.
Had the top off the Panasonic unit, in case it was the anti-surge fuse that had blown, this was tested-ok. Any advice would be appreciated.

I had the same problem, did my research and replaced capacitors C1209 and C1204 on pcb. Bingo, the system works perfect now.
