i have a 2gb pendrive and any time i insert it into the computer,a dialog box appears asking me to format my pendrive.when i click yes,and quick format it,a message bnx appears telling me that i formatting could not be completed. What should i do?

Is it write protected ? Some pendrives have a switch that stops changes being made to the drive. If it doesn't have one, it sounds as if it is broken, but try formatting it in another computer first.
