flashing orange light?

last night my freeview box finished recording a programme and then a flashing orange light came on. i have tried turning it on and off at the plug. what can i do?

Still not quite enough information.

DV3 is not a Model Type it is a stylised DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting). It's on ALL Freeview boxes.

I'd start with a quick look in the User Guide that came with it, if I was you. They usually have description of what the state of the lights mean.

Can't help any more because you don't say what the box is.
