Peccavi is an encyclopedia. Yes sounds to me the've blocked the eaves with the insulation....bad move the roof void needs ventilation to prevent build up of moist air hitting warm surfaces and condensing which seems to me to be the problem. Either they are cowboy contractors or were over enthusiastic in insulating without leaving the eaves end free for flow of air. Try also local MP he might make them shift and correct it.
