alba mpk8065buk?

I loaded music from my computer but when went to play it says wrong format. Can anybody let me know what has gone wrong. Thanks in advance

Other forum fixya.com says 'format the storage', but this is very unlikely to solve the problem.

There are different kinds of music file formats - MIDI, MP3, WAV, WMA, ASF etc.
Manual says
.MP3 8-320 kbps
.WMA 5-384 kbps
which are the commonest formats. The quality range is wide enough for almost all purposes.
Mine even works with files named *.ASF that are really .WMA inside !

Most likely problem is the manual says 'Constant Bit Rate' - your files may be 'Variable Bit Rate' (VBR) ?
That basically saves disk space in quiet bits.
