Re: How can I Eject a trapped CD from emachines EL1352?

Regarding the trapped CD from emachines, there does not appear to be a reset button near the button that should open the CD/DVD drive & having just read the answer to "CD stuck in Drive" I have tried My Computer, CD Drive and pressed 'Ejectar' (It's a Spanish speaking Computer) besides a lot of whirring still no joy. Any further ideas please?

There is no "reset" button on the CD or DVD drives.

There is a small round and unmarked hole. It is smaller than a earphone connector. You unbend a regular paper clip and insert it in that hose. When it hits the bottom, you continue pushing and the tray will start opening.

You can now finish opening it by gently pulling it manualy.

no, you are looking for a small round hole either bottom left or right, the hole is where you push a pin into to manually open the disc tray.
