Unless you ABSOLUTELY NEED itune, uninstall it and all of it's added, and separate, components. Next, suppress the Apple folder(s). It's a very bad case of bloat ware.
You'll regain some 300 Mb of drive space.
If it's for an iPod, iPad or iPhone, there are third party applications aimed to replace itune.
If you don't have the choice, you NEED to adjust and change ALL default settings, like moving/converting, renaming fikles and reorganizing the media folders of your media files on play... You realy DON'T want your MP3s been converted to MP4 or AAC... And if you use your custom music folder, you don't want your files been moved to My Music either.
