Remove the front handle -blue or grey plastic with KENWOOD Chef written on it. To do this you need to slide the white plastic lever beneath the handle to the right. Then remove the cover of the liquidizer connection at the rear of the machine by unlocking the white plastic slider. You will see three screws around the silver spigot plate. Remove these and the whole top case should come free. The lower blue grey cover plate is secured with four screws access from below.
