Glow worm Fuelsaver F - switches off!?

Having had the heating off all summer, I turned it on for the first time yesterday, everything worked fine then after about 15 minutes the heating went off. Looking at the boiler (wall mounted G/worm Fuelsaver F) the ignition light and burner were out. After about 2 minutes of switching the boiler thermostat on to 5 and off, the fan kicked in again and the heating/boiler were up and running again, unfortunately 15 mins later same again, and so on. Anyone any ideas?

I have had the same problem with my boiler, two heating engineers have been around. One said its had it and the other got the boiler to run until it switched on in the morning then went out again. What i can see is that the pilot flame is warming the thermocouple until the gas is switched on, then the flame flickers (as if it was windy but it was`nt) the flame stops warming the thermocouple and they turn from glowing red to black, then the boiler switches off. Anyone have any ideas? I am reluctant to install a new boiler because i am having an extension built in 12 months and have a all dancing combi fitted, so the next question is does anyone now if you can get a reconditioned boiler to replace my not so Glow worm piece of SH**.

I've had the same problem with my fuelsaver f boiler, I replaced the pump but still having the same problem. Mine go's off after about 1 minute of operation. I know it's over heating but I can't understand why. It was working fine and suddenly developed this fault during operation.
