DO NOT try anything.
If you do something, it would invalidate any warranty.
SEND IT BACK.
Go to where you bought it from, or if not possible get in touch and tell them.
You could insist on a full replacement, But I assume you want it working, so would accept a new remote, IF that is what it is, Remote controls have to have a reciever, that is built in to tv, SO is it remote or TV.
DO Not mess about, Do not touch. Just contact whoever you got it from. 'Equipment does not perform as it should'
