Thomson DT16300-16?

My box was in good working order until I moved house. I plugged it in and all that happens is a constant ticking from the box in 1 second intervals. Lef it plugged in overnight and it still won't boot up. I don't even get a light registering on the box.

Can anyone please offer any assistance on howto fix this problem ?

Power supply capacitors have gone bad. Remove the psu and replace the capacitors with the best quality ones you can, i.e. Panasonic. Or you can replace the whole psu with a replacement off Ebay. I had mine do this about 18 months ago. I replaced the capacitors and it sprang back into life!
Good luck
