This commercial cool Haier portable air conditioner was bought brand new last year. We didn't use it because of the noise it makes when you hook up the exhaust tube. We thought it might be the tube installation and just stored the unit until recently. We really need to use it now but the exhaust fan rattles horribly and loudly with the tubing attached, or if you place your hand in front of it, so it's not the tubing. What can we do to correct this?

It's the blower fan that is causing the loud rattling noise. Have the same unit and getting mine replaced now. Blower fan part price is $45.00 plus labor of about $95.00. Good luck!
