My Boiler did the same thing and it ended up being the diaphram in the diverter valve, it becomes weak and splits and no longer activates the plunger. They cost around £8 I think. Good luck

cpu board keeps getting hot then no hot water or heating,homeserve keep on replacing board but the same thing keeps on happing .any idea s i.e had three now boards seens xmas cany any one help
