I am having a problem with my ideal boiler pilot light, at first i had no heating or hot water so i read online about turning off the boiler at the mains and the on/off switch on the boiler , i did this and the boiler fired up ok when it reached room temperature the boiler cut off as it should.But it would then not fire up again until i repeated the steps of switching off at mains again....so i thought if i set the room stat at a high temp it would not reach, then the boiler will not switch off...hmmm well it did, then i found if i turned the thermostat up on the boiler it would then start up again....can anyone please advise me of a way to fix this issue or what the problem may be
