halstead boiler problem?

my cbx boiler has stopped changing between c.heating and hot water.there isnt a diaphragm, but an electric motor that moves the valve left for heating and right for hot water.this just stays in one position.
i can disconnect the motor and move the lever manually left and right.then it works fine,so the boiler is ok its just the motor isnt moving.any ideas please?

thanks. it has a turbine in the cold water inlet which is telling the boiler i need water. it then fires up and proceeds to go through the central heating instead of diverting. the motor is plugged into the pcb so i think i may have to bite the bullet and buy a board. thanks

Switch faulty, could of been diaphragm operated switch, but you say no diaphragm, so must be a flow type switch. So look for a unit with some wires going to it on the HW pipe work. No switch operation, no motor operation. System needs to know, that you want HW
