Vintage Sony Percolator Elec. Connector Req'd?

I need a connector for a Sony Coffee Percolator circa 1970. The socket for the lead (at the percolator base) has 3 round pins with the top pin larger and longer than the bottom 2 pins. Any help or advice gratefully received.

So the Amazon solution is probably no good.

Try this...

Use Google - select Images (top left)
Enter AC Power Cord (also try AC power connector)

Look at the images and concentrate on the connector that fits the equipment you have - if the wall connector is wrong you can easily fit your own plug to the cable.

Follow the link and try to buy one - alternatively get the reference for that style of connector and use it as the basis for your next search.

If this all fails and you can't identify where to get the correct power cord then consider getting inside the machine and disconnecting the existing connector (for safety) and installing a hard-wired cable with a conventional plug for your wall sockets.

Others on here who have had a similar issue have mentioned a Sona machine rather than a Sony.
And for several years there have been no positive responses for Sona power cord questions - use the search feature on this page to check.

I believe that Sona equipment originated in Singapore.

Good luck...
