Your freeview recorder sounds like a Top Up TV recorder. Top Up TV used to broadcast a 14 day epg, but permanently ceased broadcasting on 1st November 2013.
It probably has an option in one of its on screen menus to display the more normal 8 day epg which is supplied by freeview.
Your model is probably the Thomson DTI6300. Unfortunately the user manual does not give details of how to turn on the 8 day epg. However, other people have reported on-line that they have successfully looked through the on screen menus and found the setting to change.
Immediately after changing the setting so that the 8 day epg is used please be patient. It will take time before all the epg is populated without any gaps.
