How can I get my epg back?

Two days ago my epg went blank. I now have nothing with which to record and my planned recordings are lost too. I still have programmes already recorded and not deleted. I can turn it on and receive pictures from all channels but no epg whatsoever. My television has Freeview but cannot record so my position is desperate as there are programmes I don't want to miss so please help me to returne from factory default which i can't seem to find on the menu. Thank you

Top Up TV used to broadcast a 14 day programme guide, but permanently ceased broadcasting on 1st November 2013.

You need to change to the freeview 8 day guide.
Menu >> Set-up >> Change your box settings >> TV Guide Type
Use the < > keys to switch to the 8 day freeview guide.

Immediately after changing the setting to the 8 day epg a Top Up TV recorder owner should be patient. It takes time before all the epg is populated without any gaps.

If you still have a card installed then one suggestion elsewhere is to also remove the card.

Good luck.

You are the 19th person to ask that on howtomendit in the past week.
