There are a few things that could be causing this.The first thing to do is get a flashlight and in a dark room shine it into the screen and look to see if you can see a picture of some sort. If you can, then it's the backlights.If you can't see a picture then it's the sustain boards.(y-sus, x-sus or zsus, buffer or buffers)You have to check the fuses on these boards, (z-sus should have small smd fuse or fuses?)The y-sus has a buffer board that you can check for over heated ic's.The last piece it could be is the t-con board, or (logic board)With all this said and the plasma lcd tv's i worked on, if no picture with flashlight, i would go for the most failed board which is the y-sus or buffer board.
