apollo boiler banging noises ?

I have a Apollo thorn boiler 30/50b and its making loud banging noises after about 10minutes ! Hav changed pump overun switch and high and low thermostats! Anyone have any idea

Looks like it was the water tank in the loft! Sludge built up! So ball cock didn't allow enough water to the system! Cleaned it out and refilled it and the noise was gone!
