Did you have sound before you put it away?
Go to menu and make sure your not on mute. Also check menu to make sure your set for internal speakers.If your hooked to a cable box reset or get provider to reset the box.Hook cablle directlt to tv and see if you get sound.If you don't then it is internal.
Hard to know without make and model of tv.
