diplomat adp8322 ?

hi my dishwasher has stopped working the lights only come on when the door is at a certain position (6 inches from the point of closing ) then when I close the door it sometimes tries to start but only runs for a few seconds then stop, Any ideas anyone?

Sounds like the wiring is broken where the door hinges at the bottom unplug before investigating.
