My fire absolutely stinks of fish when it's on so now it's getting colder I need it to be on but I don't want to use it until Iv got rid of that smell ?

It will be the plastic of the plug and probably the wall socket too that make the pong.

Chemicals in the plastic begin to break down with time and heat.

Aliphatic Amines are released... This is what you smell.
So I've been told on here

You can search on here for Fishy Smell....

Have the plug and socket replaced
