Your boiler is very probably a Baxi Combi (combination) 80e
On modern boilers the pilot light comes on when there's a call for heat - then - when a sensor determines that the pilot flame is good -the main gas valve is opened.
If your boiler has no pilot flame when you ask for heating or hot water you would do best to call in a specialist engineer.
