How do you remove an electric bison classic stairlift with a powe platform?
I am going into a house that has an old Bison Bede Classic straight stairlifte. The lift is not working and there seems to be some sort of lowering platform the is coonected to an electric motor fixed to the top of the wall at the top of the stairs. There is 3 curve stairs at the top of the staircase. The rail which looks to be one long length rests on the ground floor and fixed to the wall at the top by a bracket. How do I remove this lift and rail? As it does not operate electrically does anyone know what I should be looking out for to get it going or does it have a manual winding mechanism somewhere? Any advice is appreciated.
