how can i fis my hotpoint first edition1200?

when the machine is spinning water is flooding out of the bottom of the machine - is this because of the filter/output pipe being blocked?? how can i locate them and clear them out??

check the drain pipe to make sure that clear and the waste pipe then check the sump hose underneath the machine
