How can I take child lock off my Magnavox (Model No. MPF-68)?

When I turn on my television all I get is a black screen with red writing on it "Child Lock - Turn Child Lock Off", it then turns itself off after around a minute.
Can anyone help?????

I just unlocked Child lock on my TV by simply pressing power and TV/AV button simultaneously. Thanks guys for your advice.

You are a Champion, I got given a Magnavox tv because the privious owner didnt know how to take the CHILD LOCK off. I couldnt believe that it was as simple as power/av thanks heaps.

I have just unlocked my TV, heres the solution.
Press POWER (RED) button and TV/AV button simultaneously it will unlock the child lock off.
