The boiler is 10 years old and recently had the valve replaced for the second time. It now:
1. Makes a "whirling" noise every few minutes when the GCH is on.
2. Also the hot water does not fire up unless the GCH is on.
where can i get a flue kit as I have to move the boiler to another rooma and need a new flue

Common problem is the rubbish diaphragm on these models. They're made of cheap material and wear away regularly.
Get someone to change this as this is the method used to heat water on demand, the diaphragm does not lift and make contacts meet, so new diaphragm (£15 I think) will sort it.
When the Heating is on a different heating method is used and the broken diaphragm is not used.
