alpha 240e combi boiler,?

when the central heating is on the radiators are hot, the preasure gauge is ok, but the boiler keeps going on and off, it kicks in goes off kicks in goes off, how do i fix this, any help would be appreciated.

I have just repaired the same problem in two different flats by replacing both temp. sensors, costing only £12 each

I think you will find this could be quite a simple thing to fix. I had this problem for a long time,So i read everything about Combi's and decided the radiators needed ( Balancing) it worked
now it's fine. Good Look.

i have the same with my 240e boiler and british gas have told me that the heat exchanger needs to be replaced

Not sure, but I just bought house with cb24 boiler. I looked up website for alpha and they have general enquiry number 01732 783000 and will tell you sales and parts contact in your area or specialist engineers in your area who know all about Alpha boilers. Hope this helps. I am calling out one in my area as the rads are ok but domestic water not hot enough.
