by accident i used the wrong charger to charge my iwinn mp4 player it has blown something and now it does not work at all, can any body sugest anything other than puting it in the bin

Justine, to answer your question I need a bit more info. What voltage & amps did you charge it with and what should it have been (details on the chargers). Chances are you fried the IC or flash memory.
